I have been keeping tabs on our member suggestions and one of the most common request is more bonuses.  You asked for it, you got it!

I will from time to time be seeding bonuses that are bigger than normal into the surfing sessions randomly.  But I will also be announcing when those bonuses are insanely huge.

Interview With James Holmes – Internet Marketing Blue Print

I just wrapped up an awesome interview with James Holmes.  A while back he had asked me if I would like to be interviewed about thumbvu, list building, and more.  My answer?  Heck yes!

I want to thank James for giving me the opportunity to spread the word about thumbvu.  Here is his thoughts on thumbvu:

“Congratulations my friend on launching a true innovation in the social media space. I know how essential your partners have been in the seeding of the idea and the success of your launch. Yup you read that right, I am curious how many members would be interested in giving Twitter a good smack for a $50 cash prize.

Here’s how it would work:

On Wed. Feb 24th at 1pm to 1:30pm PST you would need to send a tweet out about thumbvu.  You would do that by visiting and pushing the link in the picture below:

Special Member Audio!

I had mentioned in previous posts that I have been keeping a close eye on blog posts and videos that have been created by members, but I have also been watching how members are using thumbvu and who are reporting great results from using thumbvu as a way to grow their business.

So what I have done is to get a few of those fellow members onto a call and pick their brains on what they are doing to leverage thumbvu to it’s full potential.  That way you could learn from what they are doing and make it work for you also!

Updates, Goodbyes, And More!

As of writing this post we are well over 5000 members and growing strong, with 600+ members joining already this month alone!

Thank you to everyone who has helped spread the word of thumbvu. Just do a Youtube search for thumbvu and you will find tons of videos from fellow members who are showing others what thumbvu has to offer.

I want to make sure to cover for those who may be unsure of how to use thumbvu that you review our list of tutorials. We have a written guide to help you out, along with various videos.

This month we also say good bye to our programmer Austin Hallock and the idea guy behind thumbvu Mike Gartner. They came to me several months ago with the idea for thumbvu because they wanted a solid owner to take their idea and run with it. I of course said yes, because it was an awesome idea right from the start and I saw the potential. We put our heads together and came up with what thumbvu is now.

I can’t say enough about how great of a programmer Austin is and he isn’t going too far, you can actually check out his awesome blog here. As for Mike, thumbvu is on his list of innovative ideas that he has introduced into the traffic exchange niche. You can follow him to see what he does next here.

I officially took over the reigns of ownership at the beginning of this month, but from here on out I will be the person doing my best to take thumbvu to the top and make it one of the best traffic exchange programs of this year and many more to come. I will be attending several social media events locally to start spreading the word of thumbvu within the online social media society, and will be following that up with several offline events. I will make sure to post the dates and times of the offline events, so if any members would like to meet me in person at those events I would love to treat you to lunch or dinner.

We Have Joined The Super Surf Pack!

If you already know what super surf is then I am sure you are excited to hear this news!

If you don’t know let me explain:

Super surf was designed to reward members of several exchanges a surfing bonus when they are surfing those exchanges at the same time. Those exchanges are:

Recap Of The First Month!

Wow, what an awesome month this has been!

Since we launched on the 5th we have had over 4,800 members come thru the doors and we are growing by leaps and bounds every day. Here’s to having another 5,000 members before you know it!

Thank you to everyone who has shown their support for thumbvu! I have had the opportunity to watch all of the videos and read all of the blog posts out there over the last few weeks and it is very clear that people are loving thumbvu.

Here are just some of the highlights of this month:

* Over 4,000 members joined in the first 9 days!
* Over $5,000 in commissions, prizes, and more have been earned and awarded to memebrs!
* We have started selling credits to all members!
* ThumbVu has been added to several traffic exchange ranking programs and is moving quickly up the ranks!
* We kicked off a t-shirt pic contest on our Facebook fan page!
* Thanks to members suggestions we have been continuing to increase the ease of use and making improvements!
* Catherine Heiter has joined the thumbvu team as our customer support assistant and we are proud to have her expertise on hand!
* And much more has happened behind the scenes to assure that quality traffic is being delivered!

Let’s Double Up On It!

How would you like more authority?

Awesome!

All this week free and upgraded members will earn double the authority for actions taken on the site … this includes surfing, logging in, referring and much more!

So in short, if you are an active member, they will have to respect your authority!

Not sure what authority is?

* Authority is based on your activity: surfing, logging in, referring and voting all add to your authority.
* Once you hit 10 authority, you will receive 50 credits, be given a bronze star and your authority will be set to 0
* 10 bronze stars equals 1 silver star and 10 silver stars equals 1 gold star

The stars show in the surf bar to other members and help you rank higher in the site gallery.

And let’s face it, there is nothing cooler than having several stars to show off to other members!

We are also enjoying the suggestions that members are sharing with us and are adding things to help make the surf experience better for everyone!

One of the more common questions we get from support is “Why are my credits not going up as I surf?” The answer to that
is that you may have sites with an auto assign amount set on it. When this is the case then as you surf credits are being added
to “auto campaigns” and the credits are being used as you surf instead of being added to your account.

[Recap] 6 Days In…

We reached just over 3k members in the first 5 days after launch and it’s all due to YOU.

The excitement that members have shown for the site has just been mind blowing and we are excited to deliver the best service possible to you.

All of the feedback and suggestions we have received over the last few days have been super helpful.

If you visit the suggestions page you will see some of the awesome comments along with replies from us regarding many of them.

One of the big questions was in regards to credit sales.

A big launch a massive launch with a high level of activity was expected so we wanted to make sure that we didn’t have a high credit surplus in the system right out of the gate and create an unhealthy traffic flow.

Site wide credit purchases at the start of next month for all members.

The referral contest is still going strong here are the latest standings:

The contest lasts until the 14th and there is still plenty of time to get in the top spots.

Also 5 members who have at least 5 referrals will be picked randomly to win $10 cash added to their accounts!
